Acid Resistant and Highly Silver Selective Membranes Based on Charged Nanoporous 2D‐Materials

In this work, new membranes based on charged & nanoporous nanosheets with unprecedented selectivity to silver versus a wide range of other metallic ions are reported. Furthermore, a demonstrated and lead specific intralamellar lead pathway is demonstrated. A potential applicability for ubiquitous silver in WEEE is validated.

Spatial Activity Patterning and Topological Defect Transport in Acoustically Energized Active Liquid Crystals

Channel geometry is used to pattern activity in acoustically energized active liquid crystals, producing controlled, directional transport of topological defects. A Newly Discovered Tablet‐Making Facility in Nineveh: Insights From Scientific Analysis

ABSTRACT This paper addresses the question of tablet technology in the Neo‐Assyrian capital city of Nineveh. Recent excavations in the lower town of Nineveh by the Iraqi–Italian Archaeological Expedition uncovered an exceptional assemblage of more than 200 tablets from an elite residence that appears to have included a scriptorium.
