Ribbed vaults of late Gothic in Sardinia
The late Gothic construction practice, settled in the Spanish Mediterranean area, is based on predetermined geometric rules and is shown in religious buildings with ribbed vaults. The proportion between the sides of the area to cover, tracing plan of the

ESTIMATIONS OF LOCAL MAGNETIC FIELDS IN SOLAR FLARES: BASIC METHODS AND SOME RESULTS
We consider three methods for estimations of local magnetic fields in solar flares: (1) analysis of bisectors of I ± V profiles (Lozitsky, 2015); (2) search for Zeeman-like effects in cores of spectral lines with very low Lande factors, geff ≈ 0.01 ...

Bisectors of conics in isotropic plane
In this paper we introduce the concept of a bisector of two curves in an isotropic plane. We study the bisectors of conics and classify them according to their type of circularity. In general the bisector of conics is a quartic, while in the case when both conics are circular, its degree decreases.

Semantic segmentation of point clouds with the 3D medial axis transform [PDF]
Semantic segmentation of 3D point clouds is pivotal for urban modeling and autonomous systems, yet challenges like irregular data structure and complex geometry hinder accurate segmentation.

S M Nazmuz Sakib's Theorem of Symmetric Perpendicular Bisectors in Isosceles Triangles
This paper introduces a new geometric theorem focused on isosceles triangles, specifically examining the properties of perpendicular bisectors. The theorem asserts that in an isosceles triangle, where two sides are equal, the perpendicular bisectors of ...

Lieutenant-Commander Bini's interesting paper on the use of bisectors shows the trap open to the believer in the 3-line fix and goes on to show the M.P.P. when four lines are used. However, as the ideal for the four lines is to have each at 90° apart, an error in either one or two lines provides the observer with an ellipse for the M.P.P.

Bisectors in the Heisenberg group I
We show that metric bisectors with respect to the Korányi metric in the Heisenberg group are spinal spheres and vice versa. We also calculate explicitly their horizontal mean curvature.

A Novel Method of Skeletonization of Complex Shapes Based on Bisectors
The mathematical skeleton of a complex form has been essential for a variety of scientific fields and of great interest to many researchers for decades. It is based on several concepts such as the reconstruction of forms and image processing.

Generalized Perpendicular Bisector and Circumcenter [PDF]
This paper presents a theoretical generalization of the circumcenter as the intersection of generalized perpendicular bisectors. We define generalized bisectors between two regions as an area where each point is the center of at least one circle crossing each of the two regions.

Distributed Algorithm for Voronoi Partition of Wireless Sensor Networks with a Limited Sensing Range
For Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), the Voronoi partition of a region is a challenging problem owing to the limited sensing ability of each sensor and the distributed organization of the network.
