High-Q bismuth silicate nonlinear glass microsphere resonators [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
The fabrication and characterization of a bismuth-silicate glass microsphere resonator has been demonstrated. At wavelengths near 1550 nm, high-modes can be efficiently excited in a 179 µm diameter bismuth-silicate glass microsphere via evanescent ...

The Bismuth–Bismuth Trichloride System

open access: yesThe Journal of Physical Chemistry, 1959
A phase equilibrium study of the bismuth-bismuth trichloride system has been carried out. The experimental techniques included sampling at temperature, thermal analysis, and visual observations. The miscibility gap was found to be closed at a consolute tempenature of 780 and 51 mole % Bi.

La chanson dans Le Roman inachevé

open access: yesTextes & Contextes, 2020
Le Roman inachevé est le creuset des premières et des plus durables adaptations en chansons des poèmes d’Aragon. Mais cette œuvre n’est pas seulement du bois dont on fait les chansons : elle fait aussi entendre, à bien des endroits, sa propre ...

Bismuth Reduces Cisplatin-Induced Nephrotoxicity Via Enhancing Glutathione Conjugation and Vesicular Transport

open access: yesFrontiers in Pharmacology, 2022
Bismuth drugs have long been used against gastrointestinal diseases, especially the gastric infection of Helicobacter pylori. Cisplatin is a widely used anticancer drug that tends to accumulate at renal proximal tubules and causes severe nephrotoxicity ...
