Bistatic-Like Differential SAR Tomography [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing, 2019
Motivated by prospective synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite missions, this paper addresses the problem of differential SAR tomography (D-TomoSAR) in urban areas using spaceborne bistatic or pursuit monostatic acquisitions. A bistatic or pursuit monostatic interferogram is not subject to significant temporal decorrelation or atmospheric phase ...

Neural Network–Assisted Metasurface Retroreflector With Wide‐Angle Adaptivity

open access: yesElectron, EarlyView.
This work proposes a wide‐angle, multi‐polarization, self‐sensing, and self‐adaptive intelligent metasurface retroreflector, with a planar profile and ultrathin thickness. By integrating a pre‐trained artificial neural network (ANN), the metasurface retroreflector can recognize the incident angle and promptly adapt to changes in the incoming wave.
