Mind &Language, EarlyView.Particularistic pejoratives (PPs) mock individuals based on their personal attributes yet lack a precise definition. This paper seeks to refine our understanding of PPs by examining their derogatory profiles across three dimensions: descriptiveness, intensity, and slurring potential.
