Traumatic Hypopituitarism Associated with Bitemporal Hemianopia in a Prepuberal Child
Journal of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, 1978The case of a boy affected by post-traumatic hypopituitarism associated with bitemporal hemianopia is described. While traumatic bitemporal hemianopia is not an extraordinary occurence, traumatic injuries have been rarely reported among the causes of hypopituitarism.

Bitemporal hemianopia in chloroquine retinopathy
Neurology, 1974Article abstract Visual difficulty developed in a 54-year-old woman treated for 10 years with chloroquine for rheumatoid arthritis, and a bitemporal field defect was discovered. Skull x-rays, pneumoencephalography, and carotid angiography were normal. A chiasmal (exploration finally was done, but results were negative.

BITEMPORAL HEMIANOPIA OF TRAUMATIC ORIGIN
Archives of Ophthalmology, 1940Bitemporal hemianopia is an infrequent result of injury to the head. Osterberg, 1 in reviewing the 30 such cases in the literature and 2 of his own, found in most of them certain common features : Blunt violence applied to the front of the skull caused a relatively slight fracture that did not extend to the region of the sella turcica but caused a ...

REHABILITATING A PATIENT WITH BITEMPORAL HEMIANOPIA
American journal of optometry and physiological optic, 1982ABSTRACT For those with large field defects, employing totally reflecting mirrors or prisms to reflect information from non‐seen areas also blocks out areas within the remaining functional field. A patient with large field defects commonly resists further encroachment upon any part of his limited field.

Chorioretinopathy presenting as bitemporal hemianopia
Journal of the Neurological SciencesBitemporal hemianopia is usually caused by chiasmal pathology. Rarely, chorioretinal lesions may develop symmetrically in both eyes and mimic chiasmopathy. This case series included three patients who presented to a tertiary neuro-ophthalmology centre with bitemporal hemianopic defects between 2021 and 2023 and were subsequently diagnosed with bilateral

Optic Chiasm Involvement on MRI With Ethambutol-Induced Bitemporal Hemianopia
Journal of Neuro-Ophthalmology, 2014While ethambutol optic neuropathy usually causes central or cecocentral scotomas, bitemporal visual field defects also have been reported. The pathogenesis of the bitemporal hemianopia has not been established. This article describes magnetic resonance imaging abnormalities involving the optic chiasm in a patient with bitemporal visual field loss.

[Bitemporal hemianopia in road traffic].
Klinische Monatsblatter fur Augenheilkunde, 2006Patients suffering from pituitary adenomas and diseases of the chiasma typically show a bitemporal hemianopia. The residual undisturbed nasal visual fields of both eyes should have an extension of (at least) 120 degrees and are according to the actual German traffic rules (FeVAndV) for cars of the classes A, B, M, L and T.
