Slowly Rotating Traversable Wormholes Supported by Radially Varying String‐Fluid Matter: From Regular Geometries to Photon Trajectories

open access: yesAnnalen der Physik, Volume 538, Issue 6, June 2026.
This study examines slowly rotating traversable wormholes supported by string fluids whose properties change with radius. The matter smoothly shifts from a de Sitter‐like core to a string‐dominated exterior, producing a regular, horizon‐free spacetime.

Topological defects in low-energy string gravity [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
Cosmologists are interested in topological defects as a possible source for the primordial density perturbations which seeded structure formation through gravitational instability.

Microscopic unitary description of tidal excitations in high-energy string-brane collisions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
The eikonal operator was originally introduced to describe the effect of tidal excitations on higher-genus elastic string amplitudes at high energy.

MiR‐30a‐5p mediates epileptogenesis in epilepsy models by targeting SOX4 to regulate the Wnt/β‐catenin pathway

open access: yesEpilepsia Open, Volume 11, Issue 3, Page 983-1002, June 2026.
Abstract Objective The pathogenesis of epilepsy is closely associated with neuronal synaptic plasticity. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) can regulate various biological processes by binding to specific sequences on target genes. This study employs bioinformatics, molecular dynamics, and experimental approaches to investigate the mechanism by which MiR‐30a‐5p treats

Black Holes in String Theory

open access: yesInterdisciplinary Journal of Research and Development, 2017
A black hole is a region of space time exhibiting such strong gravitational effects that nothing not even particles and electromagnetic radiation such as light can escape from inside it. From the theoretical point of view, black holes provide an intriguing arena in which to explore the challenges posed by the reconciliation of general relativity and ...

Cosmic necklaces in string theory and field theory

open access: yes, 2010
PhDIn this thesis we investigate astrophysical phenomena which arise in models with compact extra dimensions, focussing on the cosmological consequences of strings which wrap cycles in the internal space. Embedding our strings in the Klebanov-Strassler

Maxwell’s equations in the Myers-Perry geometry

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2017
We demonstrate separability of the Maxwell’s equations in the Myers-Perry-(A)dS geometry and derive explicit solutions for various polarizations. Application of our construction to the four-dimensional Kerr black hole leads to a new ansatz for the ...

Functionally complementary bacterial inoculant coordinates arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi to improve Angelica sinensis root yield and quality

open access: yesiMetaOmics, Volume 3, Issue 2, June 2026.
Comprehensive understanding of how diverse PGPR strains enhance the rhizosphere microenvironment remains a considerable challenge. Here, we provide experimental evidence that a functionally synergistic composite microbial formulation can markedly enhance growth performance and improve the quality attributes in Angelica sinensis.

Therapeutic Poxviruses Induce the Secretion of Immunostimulating and Anti‐Tumoral Extracellular Vesicles

open access: yesJournal of Extracellular Vesicles, Volume 15, Issue 6, June 2026.
Immune cells infected by therapeutic poxviruses release increased amounts of extracellular vesicles bearing viral proteins and therapeutic payloads. Such EVs have the ability to activate a CD8+ T‐cell mediated antitumoral immune response and decrease tumor growth.
