Black holes lessons from multipole ratios
We explain in detail how to calculate the gravitational mass and angular momentum multipoles of the most general non-extremal four-dimensional black hole with four magnetic and four electric charges.

Fermion perturbations in string theory black holes [PDF]
In this paper we study fermion perturbations in four dimensional black holes of string theory, obtained either from a non-extreme configuration of three intersecting five-branes with a boost along the common string or from a non-extreme intersecting system of two two-branes and two five-branes.

Geroch group description of bubbling geometries
The Riemann-Hilbert approach to studying solutions of supergravity theories allows us to associate spacetime independent monodromy matrices (matrices in the Geroch group) with solutions that effectively only depend on two spacetime coordinates.

Islands in Schwarzschild black holes
We study the Page curve for asymptotically flat eternal Schwarzschild black holes in four and higher spacetime dimensions. Before the Page time, the entanglement entropy grows linearly in time.

Three-Charge Black Holes and Quarter BPS States in Little String Theory [PDF]
We show that the system of $k$ NS5-branes wrapping $\mathbb{T}^4\times S^1$ has non-trivial vacuum structure. Different vacua have different spectra of 1/4 BPS states that carry momentum and winding around the $S^1$.

Islands in linear dilaton black holes
We derive a novel four-dimensional black hole with planar horizon that asymptotes to the linear dilaton background. The usual growth of its entanglement entropy before Page’s time is established.

Extremal Black Holes as Bound States [PDF]
We consider a simple static extremal multi-black hole solution with constituents charged under different $U(1)$ fields. Each of the constituents by itself is an extremal dilatonic black hole of coupling $a=\srt$.

Stringy Corrections to Kaluza-Klein Black Holes [PDF]
We consider string theory corrections to 4D black holes which solve the 5D vacuum Einstein equations. We find that the corrections vanish only for the extremal electric solution.

(Non-adiabatic) string creation on nice slices in Schwarzschild black holes
Nice slices have played a pivotal role in the discussion of the black hole information paradox as they avoid regions of strong spacetime curvature and yet smoothly cut through the infalling matter and the outgoing Hawking radiation, thus, justifying the ...

Extremal black holes, Stueckelberg scalars and phase transitions
We calculate the entropy of a static extremal black hole in 4D gravity, non-linearly coupled to a massive Stueckelberg scalar. We find that the scalar field does not allow the black hole to be magnetically charged.
