The schematic diagram illustrates the roles of novel immune checkpoints, immunomodulatory factors, cell death and multimodal technologies in cancer immunotherapy. Abstract Cancer immunotherapy has redefined cancer treatment. However, the molecular and cellular basis of immune evasion and therapeutic resistance remains incompletely understood.

This study utilizes programmable mechanical pressure as a therapeutic enhancer to establish a mechano‐chemotherapy strategy. Controlled pressure activates the mechanosensitive ion channel Piezo1 in bladder cancer, triggering a calcium ion cascade that transiently and reversibly amplifies membrane permeability to chemotherapeutics.

Preoperative FAN score predicts survival outcomes after radical cystectomy for bladder cancer
Abstract Objective This study aimed to evaluate whether the preoperative FAN score—composed of the fibrosis‐4 (Fib‐4) index, albumin–bilirubin (ALBI) score and neutrophil–lymphocyte ratio (NLR)—predicts recurrence‐free, cancer‐specific and overall survival after radical cystectomy for bladder cancer.
