Blades have the edge [blade servers
IEEE Spectrum, 2005An increasing number of computer rooms all over the world are switching from conventional servers to blade servers because they offer huge improvements over conventional, rack-mounted units. The greatest benefit of blades is their flexibility, which allows them to be easily installed, managed and repaired compared to conventional servers.

DISPOSABLE RHINOPLASTIC BLADES
Archives of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, 1956Numerous sharp knives are the essential tools for all surgery. Straight double-edged pointed knives, double-edged curved blunt-end knives, and button-end straight or curved knives are commonly used. They must be sharp at all times. Sharp blades reduce operative bleeding. They reduce trauma to the soft tissues.

Analysis of Incompressible, Nonviscous Blade-to-Blade Flow in Rotating Blade Rows
Journal of Fluids Engineering, 1958Abstract A method is developed for the blade-to-blade solution of the incompressible, nonviscous flow through rotating blade rows (including the inlet region) with or without splitter vanes. Splitter vanes are partial blades which do not extend to the inlet of the blade row.
