Coupling Analysis of Turbocharger Compressor Blade Vibration and Blade Profile Optimization

2021 IEEE International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Mechatronics Technology (ICEEMT), 2021
The optimization of the turbocharger structure can significantly improve its properties. In order to establish the dynamic coupling formula, the blade was simplified as a thin flexible rectangular plate moving in space, and the Lagrange dynamic equation was used to solve the problem.

Laser profiling of 3D microturbine blades

SPIE Proceedings, 2003
We have used KrF excimer laser ablation in the fabrication of a novel MEMS power conversion device based on an axial-flow turbine with an integral axial-flux electromagnetic generator. The device has a sandwich structure, comprising a pair of silicon stators either side of an SU8 polymer rotor.

Cascade Experiments Over “S” Blade Profiles

Journal of Energy Engineering, 1986
A fully reversible axial machine in a tidal power plant has to perform turbining and pumping in both normal and reversed directions of flow. Runner blades having “S” cambered profile are found to be suitable for all four modes of operation. Cascade characteristics of four “S” blade profiles are presented and compared in this paper.
