Ethylenediaminetetraacetic Acid and Other Dentine Bioactive Molecule‐Releasing Agents for Regenerative Endodontic Procedures: A Systematic Review

open access: yesInternational Endodontic Journal, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background The bioactive molecules released from dentine are key to stem‐cell recruitment, proliferation and differentiation in regenerative endodontics. However, there is limited and conflicting information regarding current and potential agents for releasing dentine bioactive molecules for regenerative endodontic procedures.

Disc Mower Modifications to Reduce Suction Effects Do Not Decrease Insect Losses During Grassland Mowing

open access: yesJournal of Applied Entomology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Among other anthropogenic factors, intensive agriculture, including frequent mowing, has largely contributed to the decline of the grassland fauna in Central Europe. Disc mowers, the predominant mowing technology, have long been suspected to cause high arthropod mortality mainly through suction generated by slanted blades.

Air‐Abrasion With Aluminum Oxide Particles in Non‐Carious Cervical Lesions: Impact on Sclerotic Superficial Layer, Surface Topography, and Restorative Adhesive Performance

open access: yesJournal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate the effect of airborne‐particle abrasion (APA) with aluminum oxide on superficial dentin sclerosis, surface topography, and bonding performance of a universal adhesive in natural non‐carious cervical lesions (NCCLs), using dentin classification by the North Carolina Index (NCI) and Optical Coherence Tomography Index (OCT).

Divergent Healing Trajectories Among Common Mechanical Skin Wound Types in Post‐Smolt Atlantic Salmon (Salmo salar Linnaeus, 1758)

open access: yesJournal of Fish Diseases, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Mechanical wounds are a common form of skin damage in Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar Linnaeus, 1758) aquaculture and can predispose fish to secondary infections. Such wounds often arise from routine farming practices, including delousing operations.
