NLSS3 Impairs SHM1 Autophagic Degradation to Regulate Leaf Morphology and Salt Tolerance in Rice

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In rice, NLSS3 binds and shields SHM1 from autophagic degradation to maintain serine homeostasis. The A132P mutation in nlss3 disrupts this, triggering SHM1 loss, metabolic dysfunction, K+ imbalance, and impaired ROS scavenging, which collectively drive narrow leaves and salt sensitivity.

Improved blasting results with precise initiation : Numerical simulation of small-scale tests and full-scale bench blasting

open access: yes, 2013
A series of numerical simulations of rock blasting has been conducted using the LSDYNA software in order to test the hypothesis proposed by Rossmanith, stating that interaction of stress waves could result in finer fragmentation by controlling the ...

PlantGFM: A Genomic Foundation Model for Discovery and Creation of Plant Genes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A plant genomic foundation model pre‐trained on 12 species enables both accurate gene prediction and de novo gene design. Through AI‐human knowledge screening, seven designed sequences showed transcriptional activity in plants, with two expressing stable proteins—demonstrating the first DNA‐RNA‐protein expression of LLM‐generated genes in plants and ...

Heat Shock Protein 90: From Molecular Chaperone Function to Therapeutic Targeting in Malignancies

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this review, an integrated conceptual framework linking HSP90's molecular chaperone functions to its pathological roles in cancer is proposed. HSP90 serves as a central node that integrates oncogenic signaling, buffers proteotoxic stress, maintains cancer stem cell plasticity, and shapes tumor‐immune interactions, all of which converge to drive ...

Analysis of Blasting Efficiency Using Crack-Inducing Holes and Pre-Splitting Method in Blasting

open access: yes
In an era of increased need for underground tunnel excavation to address growing urban population and traffic concerns, complaints resulting from blasting vibrations and the frequent execution of uneconomically inefficient blasting operations due to ...

Resistant Peanut Genotype Reprograms Rhizosphere Metabolism to Enhance Bacterial Wilt Suppression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The resistant peanut genotype selectively recruits beneficial bacteria, which coincides with the activation of salicylic acid (SA)‐dependent systemic acquired resistance (SAR) against Ralstonia solanacearum. Keystone rhizosphere metabolites are positively correlated with both beneficial microbiome assembly and SAR gene expression.
