Paracrine FGF4 from EPI precursor cells promotes lactate synthesis within PrE precursor cells, while the increased lactate in turn stimulates FGF‐ERK signalling via lactate shuttling. The increased lactate in PrE precursor cells directly promotes PrE formation by elevating the level of histone lactylation. ABSTRACT Lactate has been widely recognised as

Decidualization is the process by which human endometrial stromal cells undergo morphological and functional changes to prepare the uterus for embryo implantation and support pregnancy. Our study identifies the phosphatidic acid‐Src‐FAK‐RhoA/ROCK signaling pathway as a critical regulator of the cytoskeletal alterations required for this transformation.

Epigenetic control of cell identities from epiblast to gastrulation
In this review, we present and contextualize current knowledge about the roles of epigenetic modifiers during the development of mouse epiblast to gastrulation stage. The epigenetic regulation of enhancer and promoter elements by DNA methylation, histone modifications, and chromatin accessibility in concert with lineage‐specific transcription factors ...

Twin‐arginine translocation D (TatD) homologs are found across all kingdoms, with debated roles in DNA degradation and protein quality control in unicellular organisms. We characterize TATDN1, the mammalian TatD orthologue, as a proteostatic stress‐responsive cytosolic protein dispensable for DNA degradation.
