This study examines slowly rotating traversable wormholes supported by string fluids whose properties change with radius. The matter smoothly shifts from a de Sitter‐like core to a string‐dominated exterior, producing a regular, horizon‐free spacetime.

Long-term optical polarization variability of the TeV blazar 1ES 1959+650 [PDF]
A detailed analysis of the optical polarimetric variability of the TeV blazar 1ES 1959+650 from 2007 October 18 to 2011 May 5 is presented. The source showed a maximum and minimum brightness states in the R-band of 14.08±0.03 mag and 15.20±0.03 mag ...

Abstract This paper explores the challenges and opportunities surrounding the recruitment and retention of minority ethnic teachers in England. Drawing on interview data from 33 teachers and school leaders of diverse ethnic backgrounds, it investigates whether racialised barriers identified in earlier research have shifted in the current context of ...

Variability of the blazar 4C 38.41 (B3 1633+382) from GHz frequencies to GeV energies* [PDF]
Context. After years of modest optical activity, the quasar-type blazar 4C 38.41 (B3 1633+382) experienced a large outburst in 2011, which was detected throughout the entire electromagnetic spectrum, renewing interest in this source. Aims. We present the

Long term γ-ray variability of blazars [PDF]
We used the data from the Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope to characterise the γ-ray flux variability of blazars on month-like time scales. Our sample consists of 1120 blazars of which 481 are flat spectrum radio quasars (FSRQs) and 639 are BL Lac objects (BL Lacs).

Physics from Time Variability of the VHE Blazar PKS 2155-304 [PDF]
Blazars are the principal extragalactic sources of very high energy gamma-ray emission in the Universe. These objects constitute a sub-class of Active Galactic Nuclei whose emission is dominated by Doppler boosted non-thermal radiation from plasma ...

ABSTRACT Recruiting teachers via “grow‐your‐own” (GYO) programs is a popular, yet rarely evaluated, strategy for addressing local workforce shortages and ensuring that incoming teachers resemble, understand, and have strong connections to their communities.
