Impact of Chelation on Reactivity and Cytotoxicity of Hemilabile Biphenyl Gold(III) N‐Heterocyclic Carbene Complexes

An array of eight pairs of biphenyl gold(III) complexes comprising NHC–pyridine ligands having a hemilabile character in vitro displays antiproliferative activity toward human cells in the low micromolar range which is exclusively due to their neutral open form according to speciation studies.

Lichen Planus Triggered by Dengue Infection: An Unusual Clinical Presentation

ABSTRACT Systemic viral infections have been implicated as possible triggers for Lichen planus. An association of Lichen planus with dengue infection is exceptionally rare. We report a case of 38‐year‐old male who developed Lichen planus after the onset of dengue fever without any prior history or family history of Lichen planus.

One Bite, Two Severe Envenomations Despite Antivenom Therapy: A Case Report

ABSTRACT This case report describes a 12‐year‐old child who was bitten by a cobra and developed two distinct systemic neurotoxic episodes, 19 h apart, along with severe local envenoming, despite receiving appropriate treatment with antivenom and making a full recovery.
