Hemidesmosomal Proteins in Oral Cancer Progression: An Immunohistochemical Study of Human and Mouse
ABSTRACT Background Hemidesmosomal subunits have gained attention for their potential role in the progression of oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC). However, formal analysis of quantitative expression patterns correlating with OSCC disease pathogenesis remains limited.

Abstract Lung cancer is the leading cause of global cancer‐related morbidity and mortality, with tobacco smoking as its strongest risk factor. Nuclear factor erythroid 2‐related factor 2 (NRF2) is a redox‐regulated transcription factor frequently dysregulated in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), leading to aggressive disease and resistance to therapy.

Abstract Background and Purpose Alcohol abuse and affective disorders are severe comorbid psychiatric diseases characterized by impaired brain synaptic transmission. The role of presynaptic scaffolding proteins coordinating presynaptic plasticity and neurotransmitter release, such as Bassoon (Bsn), in the pathogenesis of these disorders remains elusive.

A cumulative genetic score based on IgG4‐associated variants explains a substantial proportion of variance in psIgG4 levels during sustained peanut consumption, highlighting strong gene‐by‐environment interactions. Our findings suggest that early, sustained peanut consumption, in combination with genetic factors, promotes a protective immune response ...

ABSTRACT Photosynthetic light‐harvesting complexes mediate light absorption and energy dissipation. By modulating the photosystems' absorption cross‐section, they affect both photosynthetic activity and non‐photochemical quenching (NPQ). These processes are often studied by spectrally integrated chlorophyll fluorescence, masking their associated ...
