Increased Anti‐Psoriatic Effect of Anti‐Inflammatory Dendrimers Using Fluid Catanionic Vesicle‐Based Topical Formulations

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Next‐Generation Psoriasis Therapy – With advanced dendrimer‐based formulations, this study paves the way for highly effective, skin‐permeable treatments. Encapsulated in fluid catanionic vesicles, IMD‐006 and its analogues show promising anti‐psoriatic effects offering a targeted, non‐invasive approach to managing chronic skin inflammation.

A multiple improved envelope spectra via feature optimization gram (MIESFO-gram) for diagnosis of compound fault signatures

open access: yesMechanics & Industry
Detecting compound faults in rotating machinery is challenging for fault diagnosis due to simultaneous occurrences of multiple faults, hindering the isolation of specific fault signatures.

Infusible Extracellular Matrix Biomaterial Enhances Cell‐Specific Pro‐Repair Responses Following Acute Myocardial Infarction

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
We measure the cell‐specific responses of administering infusible ECM (iECM) in acute myocardial infarction (MI) across multiple timepoints. Using single‐nucleus RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics, we measure macrophage activation, fibroblast remodeling, increased vascular development, lymphangiogenesis, cardioprotection, and neurogenesis ...

Converting pairing-based cryptosystems from composite to prime order setting – A comparative analysis

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Cryptology, 2018
Composite order pairing setting has been used to achieve cryptographic functionalities beyond what is attainable in prime order groups. However, such pairings are known to be significantly slower than their prime order counterparts.

Blinding for Unanticipated Signatures [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Previously known blind signature systems require an amount of computation at least proportional to the number of signature types, and also that the number of such types be fixed in advance. These requirements are not practical in some applications. Here, a new blind signature technique is introduced that allows an unlimited number of signature types ...

Serotonergic System‐Targeted Nucleic Acid Hydrogel Coordinates Excitability Restoration and Circuit Reconstruction for Spinal Cord Injury Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The study reports a DNA/RNA heteroduplex hydrogel (SeroPTEN‐CG) that undergoes DNase‐mediated hydrogel‐to‐nanogel transition for spinal cord injury therapy by targeting the serotonergic system, combining 5‐hydroxytryptamine (5‐HT)‐mediated excitability restoration to reactivate dormant interneurons with phosphatase and tensin homolog (PTEN)‐targeted ...
