Rule-Based EEG Classifier Utilizing Local Entropy of Time–Frequency Distributions
Electroencephalogram (EEG) signals are known to contain signatures of stimuli that induce brain activities. However, detecting these signatures to classify captured EEG waveforms is one of the most challenging tasks of EEG analysis. This paper proposes a

Security of signed ELGamal encryption [PDF]
Assuming a cryptographically strong cyclic group G of prime order q and a random hash function H, we show that ElGamal encryption with an added Schnorr signature is secure against the adaptive chosen ciphertext attack, in which an attacker can freely use

Metformin mediates mitochondrial quality control in Leber's hereditary optic neuropathy (LHON) fibroblasts carrying mtDNA mutations. At therapeutic levels, metformin activates AMPK signaling to restore mitochondrial dynamics by promoting fusion and restraining fission, while preserving mitochondrial mass, enhancing autophagy/mitophagy and biogenesis ...

Blind electronic signature on elliptic curves method: conditions and requirements
The work is devoted to consideration the blind electronic signature method based on algorithm, described in DSTU ISO/IEC 14888-3:2014 (EC DSA). The blind electronic signatures protocol mathematical model based on a standard electronic signature algorithm

Posture Recognition to Prevent Bedsores for Multiple Patients Using Leaking Coaxial Cable
Leaky coaxial cable (LCX) has long been used to cover blind and semi-blind zones in wireless communication. In this paper, we propose a novel system using a LCX.

Elementary Deduction Problem for Locally Stable Theories with Normal Forms [PDF]
We present an algorithm to decide the intruder deduction problem (IDP) for a class of locally stable theories enriched with normal forms. Our result relies on a new and efficient algorithm to solve a restricted case of higher-order associative ...

Improvement of a quantum broadcasting multiple blind signature scheme based on quantum teleportation
Recently, a broadcasting multiple blind signature scheme based on quantum teleportation has been proposed for the first time. It is claimed to have unconditional security and properties of quantum multiple signature and quantum blind signature.

Long‐term hippocampal alterations and cognitive impairment in a murine model of surgical sepsis
Using a mouse model of surgical sepsis, we tested long‐term memory and analyzed the transcriptome of single cells isolated from the hippocampus. Survivor mice showed worse memory, loss of certain brain cell subpopulations, and abnormal immune cell activity—suggesting that post‐sepsis brain alterations may be linked to cognitive deficits.

Generalization and improvement of Nyberg-Rueppel message recovery blind signatures
A generalized Nyberg-Rueppel message recovery blind signature scheme was presented, from which the scheme proposed by Camenisch et al and two new schemes could be obtained. One of these two new schemes was an efficiently improved scheme without computing ...

Pharmacological inhibition of PERK in a DEN‐induced mouse model of liver cancer does not reduce tumor burden but alters cellular stress signaling. Despite blocking PERK activity, downstream stress responses, including CHOP expression, remain active, suggesting compensatory mechanisms within the unfolded protein response that may influence tumor ...
