Mechanism of Quasi‐Power‐Frequency Resonant Overvoltage Triggered by Multiple Lightning Strikes in High‐Voltage Alternating Current Systems Equipped With Shunt Reactor

open access: yesHigh Voltage, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper investigates the generation mechanism of quasi‐power‐frequency resonant overvoltage triggered by multiple lightning strikes in high‐voltage alternating current (HVAC) systems equipped with shunt reactors. Based on field measurements from a 500 kV AC system, equivalent and simplified circuit models have been established to analyse ...

High‐purity X‐ray polarimetry at high energies for Mössbauer spectroscopy

open access: yesJournal of Synchrotron Radiation, EarlyView.
This work extends high‐purity X‐ray polarimetry into the 15–30 keV range, enabling polarization‐filtered synchrotron Mössbauer spectroscopy of higher‐energy nuclear resonances. A proof‐of‐principle experiment at 22.494 keV demonstrates a polarization purity of (1.2 ± 0.5) × 10−8, establishing the feasibility of the approach.High‐purity X‐ray ...

Seed layer formation by deposition of micro‐crystallites on a revolving substrate. Part II: application to some nonlinear effects

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section B, EarlyView.
A method of averaging the material coefficients of crystallites deposited at an angle onto a revolving substrate isapplied to effective nonlinear dielectric, piezoelectric and elastic constants, as well as linear pyroelectric coefficients, for triclinic crystals. The matrix method of averaging material coefficients of crystallites deposited at an angle ...

Graph‐Laplacian modeling of spatiotemporal effects for house price estimation

open access: yesReal Estate Economics, EarlyView.
Abstract Many variables involve the modeling of spatial effects, and their dynamics over time. This article presents a linear model in which spatiotemporal random effects are modeled by graph‐Laplacians. A graph‐Laplacian flexibly encodes adjacency in both space and time, in our case not depending on unknown parameters. The graph‐Laplacian can be input

Formation of Business‐Nonprofit Collaborations: A Matching Approach

open access: yesBusiness Ethics, the Environment &Responsibility, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Business‐nonprofit collaborations are essential for addressing organizational and societal challenges, yet research has largely examined their formation from the perspective of a single partner rather than as a two‐sided process. In this study, we conceptualize collaboration formation as a dyadic matching process and examine two related ...
