Bio‐Orthogonally Crosslinked Supramolecular Polymer Bottlebrush Hydrogels for Long‐Term 3D Cell Culture

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Fibrous benzenetrispeptide (BTP) hydrogels, fabricated via strain‐promoted azide‐alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC) crosslinking, form robust, bioinert networks. These hydrogels can support 3D cell culture, where cell viability and colony growth depend on the fiber content.

Applications of Two Dimensional Cellular Automata rules for Block Cipher in Cryptography

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computer and Communication Technology, 2012
Cellular Automaton is an idealized parallel processing machine which is an array (1-D, 2-D) of numbers or symbols called cell values together with an updating rule. A cell value is updated based on this updating rule, which involves the cell value as well as other cell values in a particular neighborhood.

Predicting Atomic Charges in MOFs by Topological Charge Equilibration

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An atomic charge prediction method is presented that is able to accurately reproduce ab‐initio‐derived reference charges for a large number of metal–organic frameworks. Based on a topological charge equilibration scheme, static charges that fulfill overall neutrality are quickly generated.

Static-Block Cellular Automata: Information Laws and Observable Languages

open access: yes
Abstract Information theory, dynamical systems, and formal logic often describe the same physical reality using incompatible languages. Here we introduce EBOC, a foundational framework that unifies subshifts of finite type, entropy theory, and observable semantics into a single coherent theory.

Surface Diffusion in SnTe‐PbTe Monolayer Lateral Heterostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The lateral heterostructures between 2D materials often suffer from the interdiffusion at the interfaces. Here, a surface diffusion mechanism is found to be dominating at the interfaces between semiconducting SnTe and PbTe monolayers. Atomically sharp interfaces can be achieved by suppressing this diffusion process. ABSTRACT The construction of complex
