Bio‐Based Multilayer Composites Based on Blended Electrospun Fibers and Luffa Cylindrica for Enhanced Low‐Frequency Noise Absorption

Bio‐based multilayer composites consisting of Luffa Cylindrica and electrospun microfibers exhibit enhanced sound absorption, shifting peak performance towards lower frequencies. The multilayer configuration improves acoustic wave dissipation, providing a tunable and sustainable solution for urban and traffic‐related noise mitigation.

An Efficient Hybrid Decoder for Block Turbo Codes

In this letter, an efficient hybrid decoder for block turbo codes (BTCs) is proposed to improve the hybrid BTC decoder developed by Al-Dweik et al. A simple formula for estimating the extrinsic information is first derived. Then the proposed decoder is constructed by modifying the decoder of Al-Dweik et al. using the formula.

Gene‐specific double‐stranded RNAs induce mortality in the South African mealybug Delottococcus aberiae

Gene‐specific double‐stranded RNAs effectively silence essential genes in the invasive citrus pest Delottococcus aberiae, leading to significant mortality through both microinjection and oral delivery. These results provide proof of concept for RNA interference‐based biopesticides as selective and sustainable tools for citrus integrated pest management.
