La langue francaise dans les disciplines non linguistiques: facteur de réussite ou de d’inhibition ? [PDF]
The French language, the first living language in a school system in great difficulty, has gone from the status of a "second language" to a "foreign language"; it is for this reason that it is laborious to determine the real status of this language in ...

Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Numerical simulations of sand‐screen performance in unconsolidated prepacked gravel screen
This work addresses the ongoing challenge of optimizing sand control screens, attributed to a limited understanding of screen blocking. A novel one‐way computational fluid dynamics and discrete element method (CFD–DEM) coupling technique is presented to ...

The Dynamic Character of Northern Hemisphere Flow Regimes in a Near-Term Climate Change Projection
The dynamic character of an enstrophy-based diagnostic, previously used in the study of atmospheric blocking, is examined here, in near-term future simulations from the Institut Pierre Simon Laplace Climate Model version 4 (IPSL-CM4) and version 5 (IPSL ...

Improving Petrophysical Interpretation of Conventional Log by Determination of Real Bed Boundaries [PDF]
Proper determination of bed boundaries in layered reservoirs is vital for accurate petrophysical interpretation of conventional logs. In the wellbore, logs continuously measure physical properties of reservoir while the properties change stepwise ...

Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.
