ABSTRACT Background Patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing hemodialysis commonly experience reduced physical function, fatigue, poor sleep quality, and impaired health‐related quality of life. Intradialytic exercise has been proposed as a non‐pharmacological strategy to improve these outcomes.

Low intensity blood flow restriction exercise: Rationale for a hypoalgesia effect [PDF]
Exercise-induced hypoalgesia is characterised by a reduction in pain sensitivity following exercise. Recently, low intensity exercise performed with blood flow restriction has been shown to induce hypoalgesia. The purpose of this manuscript is to discuss

The Effect of High Intensity Acute Re-sistance Exercise with Blood Flow Restriction on Blood lactate and Executive Function [PDF]
Background: Blood flow restriction (BFR) combined with exercise has gained attention for enhancing the effects of exercise on cognitive function, particularly executive performance. Additionally, lactate, as a metabolic byproduct of exercise, affects the

ABSTRACT Background Chronic micro‐inflammation in patients with end‐stage renal disease (ESRD) is a significant driver of cardiovascular complications and diminished quality of life. While standard hemodialysis (SHD) effectively manages small‐molecule clearance, its ability to remove medium‐to‐large uremic toxins—the primary catalysts of systemic ...

POST EXERCISE BLOOD PRESSURE RESPONSE TO EXERCISE WITH BLOOD FLOW RESTRICTION [PDF]
The restriction of muscle blood flow with short term low-intensity exercise has been shown to enhance muscle size and strength. Post exercise hypotension is consistently elicited following 30-60min bouts of moderate intensity (50-60% peak aerobic ...

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.
