Karl Popper and the Mechanisms of Hydrogen Embrittlement
Representation of the beginning of loss of ductility rather than embrittlement. Small concentrations of hydrogen in a diffusible form within iron are well‐established to harm the mechanical integrity of steels. There are theories that attempt to explain the pernicious role of hydrogen.

Current Status and Challenges in Data Collection for Aerospace Coatings Deposited by Plasma Spraying
An innovative approach has been integrated into the GRENAT project to optimize plasma spraying and coating performance. Raw materials are accelerated and melted in the plasma generated by torches, creating coatings. Monitoring sensors collect process data which are combined with ex situ characterization data.

Scandium (Sc)‐doped AlCoCrFeMo HEA coatings are fabricated via flame spraying with 0.1, 0.3, and 0.5 wt% Sc additions. Among these, the HEA‐Sc0.3 coating exhibits the highest corrosion resistance, indicated by a more positive corrosion potential and lower current density.

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

White phenomena on the surfaces of 24 unvarnished paintings by Willem Witsen
White phenomena on the surfaces of 24 unvarnished paintings by Willem Witsen (1860-1923) were examined. Five types could be distinguished using a stereo-microscope.

To Bloom or Not to Bloom: Role of MicroRNAs in Plant Flowering [PDF]
During the course of their life cycles, plants undergo various morphological and physiological changes underlying juvenile-to-adult and adult-to-flowering phase transitions. To flower or not to flower is a key step of plasticity of a plant toward the start of its new life cycle.

Ionic Precursors Transformed Into Vinyl Acetate Synthesis Catalyst via Reaction‐Driven Restructuring
This work demonstrates that a simple physical mixture of Pd and Au ionic precursors, KOAc promoter, and SiO2 support can transform into a highly active vinyl acetate synthesis catalyst through reaction‐driven restructuring. The results highlight reaction‐induced restructuring as an innovative and sustainable catalyst design strategy.

Impact of Disorder on Microscopic Superconducting and Normal‐State Responses in a Kagome Metal
Using depth‐resolved, field‐ and pressure‐dependent μSR$\umu{\rm SR}$ measurements, we show that disorder in Ta‐doped KV3Sb5 drives a crossover from nodal to nodeless superconductivity while strongly modifying the normal‐state magnetic response. Our results reveal that disorder affects superconductivity and magnetism in fundamentally different ways ...

EARLY PERFORMANCE OF ‘MUTSU’ APPLE TREES ON DIFFERENT ROOTSTOCKS IN THE LOWER SILESIA REGION
Rootstock has a large impact, inter alia, on the growth of trees, yielding and fruit quality. Despite continuous breeding programmes, M.9 rootstock is still the best rootstock for apple trees.
