Local well-posedness and blow-up of solutions for wave equations on shallow water with periodic depth

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2015
In this article, we consider a nonlinear evolution equation for surface waves in shallow water over periodic uneven bottom. The local well-posedness in Sobolev space $H^s(\mathbb{S})$ with $s>3/2$ is established by applying Kato's theory.

On the Well-Posedness of the Boussinesq Equation in the Triebel-Lizorkin-Lorentz Spaces

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2012
We establish the local well-posedness and obtain a blow-up criterion of smooth solutions for the Boussinesq equations in the framework of Triebel-Lizorkin-Lorentz spaces.

Scalable MoS2/Si Photodiode Arrays From Roll‐to‐Roll Mechanical Exfoliation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A dry roll‐to‐roll route transforms mechanically exfoliated MoS2 flake networks into silicon‐integrated photodiode arrays. The MoS2/Si junctions generate photovoltaic output without applied bias, allowing illuminated pixels to locate light spots and reconstruct simple images.

Toward High‐Resolution Polymeric Neural Interfaces: A Practical Guide for Electron Beam Lithography

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Electron beam lithography (EBL) enables sub‐micron patterning of polymer‐based neural implants, overcoming the resolution limits of optical lithography. By addressing challenges such as charging, non‐planarity, and substrate heating, it supports higher channel density, improved miniaturization, and better long‐term tissue integration.

On the Cauchy Problem for the b-Family Equations with a Strong Dispersive Term

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2011
In this paper, we consider b-family equations with a strong dispersive term. First, we present a criterion on blow-up. Then global existence and persistence property of the solution are also established.

Existence, regularity and asymptotic analysis for conformable parabolic equations with history-dependent diffusion [PDF]

open access: yesMathematics and Computational Sciences
This paper investigates a diffusion equation incorporating memory effects and a conformable fractional derivative. We begin by deriving an explicit representation of the mild solution and analyzing its regularity properties.

Unravelling the Distinct Phenotype and Mechanosensitive Properties of Different Tendon Cell Populations

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Tendon interfascicular and fascicular matrix cells are isolated and cultured, revealing distinct phenotypes and mechanosensitive responses. Interfascicular matrix cells exhibit marked stiffness‐dependent phenotypic plasticity, whereas fascicular matrix cells remain comparatively stable.

Blow-up criteria for compressible viscoelastic flows with general pressure laws

open access: yesAdvances in Nonlinear Analysis
We investigate the blow-up criteria of strong solutions to the Dirichlet and Cauchy problems for the compressible viscoelastic equations with vacuum in two and three dimensions, where a general class of pressure laws without monotonicity constraints is ...

Notes on the Global Well-Posedness for the Maxwell-Navier-Stokes System

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
Masmoudi (2010) obtained global well-posedness for 2D Maxwell-Navier-Stokes system. In this paper, we reprove global existence of regular solutions to the 2D system by using energy estimates and Brezis-Gallouet inequality.

Atomistic Kinetics of Dislocation‐Mediated Grain Growth in Monolayer MoS2

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Atomic‐resolution in‐situ heating microscopy directly visualizes dislocation‐mediated grain boundary migration and grain growth in monolayer MoS2. Mobile grain boundaries migrate through collective motion of Mo 5|7 dislocations, whereas S 5|7 defects remain largely immobile.
