Optical Signature of Moiré Superlattices Formed by Twisted SrTiO3 Membranes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We discover optical signatures from bonded interfaces in twisted SrTiO3 moiré superlattices, including low‐frequency Raman vibrational modes and strong second‐harmonic generation, consistent with strong interlayer coupling inferred from cross‐sectional electron microscopy and ab initio calculations. ABSTRACT Moiré superlattices formed at the interfaces

Performance of bio-ethylene propylene diene monomer (bio-EPDM) foam with mixed chemical and encapsulated blowing agents

open access: yesFashion and Textiles, 2019
Bio-EPDM, produced from sugarcane-derived ethylene, is an eco-friendly alternative material that can solve environmental pollution problems while showing performances similar to neoprene, a petroleum-based synthetic rubber.

Electrostatic Superlattices Beyond 1:1 Stoichiometry

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Polymer‐mediated charge regulation drives two hierarchical routes to higher‐stoichiometry nanoparticle superlattices. Tuning the polymer's molecular weight promotes progressive interstitial filling, transforming ZnS into the fully occupied CaF2${\rm CaF}_2$ lattice. Exchanging polymer assignment between large and small nanoparticles instead breaks CsCl

Tailoring Light Management in All‐Perovskite Tandem Solar Cells: The Impact of Nanotextures

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
To further improve the power conversion efficiency of all‐perovskite tandem solar cells, light management strategies need to be implemented. Front‐sided nanotextures reduce reflection losses, which boosts light absorption, thus increasing the tandem JSC, which is further supported by reducing parasitic absorption.

Blowing Ratio as a Diagnostic Measure of Velopharyngeal Function in the Cleft Palate Patients

open access: yesThe Japan Journal of Logopedics and Phoniatrics, 1978
As one of the simple clinical measures of velopharyngeal function in the cleft palate patients, we use“blowing ratio” which is the ratio of soft-blowing time with open nostrils to that with closed nostrils, we also use“nasal emission ratio”, the ratio of the number of the syllables with nasal emission to the total number of syllables examined in ...

Tuning Amorphous‐Crystalline Catalytic Interfaces by Mechanochemistry: Cu‐Based Metallic Glasses Coupled with Ceria for CO Oxidation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Ball‐milling Cu‐based metallic glasses with ceria creates a unique nanostructure where metallic glass particles are wrapped by CeO2 nanoparticles. The intimate integration triggers copper state reorganization during reaction and aging, boosting CO oxidation and COPrOx activity.

SİLİNDİRİK ENJEKSİYON DELİKLERİNDE FİLM SOĞUTMA İNCELEMESİ

open access: yesHavacılık ve Uzay Teknolojileri Dergisi, 2006
This paper deals with experimental and numerical investigation of the film cooling effectiveness on a flat plate. Eleven injection holes on the model are in a single row. The holes have cylindrical cross section and they are 8.5 mm diameters.

Effect of Blockage Inside Holes on Film Cooling Performance on the Suction Side of a Turbine Guide Vane

open access: yesEnergies, 2022
In order to study the effect of thermal barrier coating deposition inside the film holes of turbine guide vanes on film cooling performance, film effectiveness on the suction side is measured by infrared thermal imaging technology.
