Photon-assisted spin transport in blue phosphorene nanotubes

Nanotechnology, 2020
Abstract We have investigated photon-assisted spin injection into blue phosphorene nanotubes (PNTs) with ferromagnetic cobalt electrodes by nonequilibrium Green’s function combined with light–matter interaction based on the first-order Born approximation. The results show the photo-induced spin current.

Adsorption of dimethyl sulfoxide on blue phosphorene

Surface Science, 2019
Abstract Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) is widely used in industrial, medical, and other applications. However, it has been demonstrated that DMSO is toxic at low concentrations. Therefore, it is important to find a way to trap/reduce it. It has been shown that two dimensional materials can be used for environmental protection.

Tuning of the Optical Properties of Monolayer Blue Phosphorene

Plasmonics, 2021
Blue and black phosphorus are the most stable allotropes of phosphorus family. As a new potential semiconductor material, blue phosphorene shows the advantage of its wide indirect bandgap. We investigate fundamental optical properties and tunability of the bandgap of monolayer blue phosphorene based on density functional theory.

Density functional study of blue phosphorene–metal interface

The European Physical Journal B, 2021
Interface properties of monolayer blue phosphorus and low index metal surfaces has been studied using density functional method. Pd(111), Pd(110), Pd(100), Al(111), Au(110) and Ni(100) have been considered as electrodes in our calculations. To understand the chemistry of metal–blue phosphorene bonding, adsorption of individual atoms of these four ...

Band Gap Modulated by Electronic Superlattice in Blue Phosphorene

ACS Nano, 2018
Exploring stable two-dimensional materials with appropriate band gaps and high carrier mobility is highly desirable due to the potential applications in optoelectronic devices. Here, the electronic structures of phosphorene on a Au(111) substrate are investigated by scanning tunneling spectroscopy, angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES), and
