Abstract Purpose To investigate the relationship between the stereographic and azimuthal equidistant projection (AEP) of the human retina for radiotherapy planning with OPTOS optomap wide‐field fundus images (Optos, UK). Further, the geometric accuracy of an OPTOS fundus image is quantified.
