Magnetic shape memory alloys are a promising multifunctional material system for integration into microsystems. Their multifunctionality arises from the coexistence of ferroelasticity and ferromagnetism. While size‐effects in ferromagnetic microstructure are well understood, corresponding experiments on the ferroelastic microstructure are sparse.
