Performance comparison of overlaid bluetooth piconets (OBP) and bluetooth scatternet
IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference, 2006. WCNC 2006., 2006In a large scale Bluetooth network, scatternet is regarded as the only interconnection method among piconets. But, most Bluetooth devices do not support scatternet connection. Moreover, in high mobility situations, scatternet is not useful because of frequent disconnections and reconnections. We propose overlaid Bluetooth piconets (OBP) to interconnect

Security Weaknesses in Bluetooth
2001We point to three types of potential vulnerabilities in the Bluetooth standard, version 1.0B. The first vulnerability opens up the system to an attack in which an adversary under certain circumstances is able to determine the key exchanged by two victim devices, making eavesdropping and impersonation possible.
