Low latency audio coder design for bluetooth and bluetooth low energy
2015 IEEE International Conference on Consumer Electronics (ICCE), 2015Wireless audio service attracts increasing attention both in mobile and in home audio market. For high quality audio service especially on wireless network, the audio codec with low latency is indispensible since the latency prevents a user from being immersed in the service.

Black networks for Bluetooth Low Energy
2016 IEEE International Conference on Consumer Electronics (ICCE), 2016We present Black Networks for Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), to secure the Internet of Things (IoT). The meta-data in BLE Packet Data Units (PDUs) can be used for IoT passive and active attacks. Black Networks encrypt the meta-data and the payload, using AES-EAX mode, resulting in a secure BLE-compatible PDU.

This chapter focuses on Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), a wireless communication widely used between two devices in close proximity to each other. Products choose to use BLE instead of Wi-Fi if minimizing energy use is particularly important and when direct communication with another device, such as a mobile phone, is an acceptable alternative to internet ...
