MXene‐Coated, Multi‐Layered Mulberry Paper‐Based Flexible Tactile Sensor With High Sensitivity Over a Wide Pressure Range

Multi‐layered mulberry paper coated with MXene is used as a pressure‐sensing element in a resistive tactile sensor. The sensor achieves a high sensitivity exceeding 15 kPa−1 over a wide pressure range of 1–1000 kPa, demonstrating a balanced combination of sensitivity and sensing range among paper‐based tactile sensors incorporating MXene.

The harmful ultraviolet component of sunlight necessitates reliable and wavelength‐selective personal UV monitoring technologies. Here, thermally evaporated CuBr thin films enable dual‐mode UV dosimetry through persistent photoconductive and colorimetric responses arising from charge trapping and surface oxide formation.

First Non‐Invasive Monitoring of Fecal Steroids in Greater Caribbean Manatees (Trichechus manatus manatus)

This study established the first fecal hormonal reference values (P4/E2) for the Greater Caribbean manatee. Using non‐invasive ELISA, the authors found no significant differences between mature and immature females, highlighting that long‐term monitoring and ultrasounds are essential to fully understand their complex reproductive cycles.

Intra‐ and Interspecific Effects on Spatio‐Temporal Behavior of Common Commensal Rodent Species

This study revealed major findings on spatio‐temporal behavior of commensal rodents on a pig farm showing the influence of interspecific dominance on movement behavior and the resulting species‐specific ecological adaptations.
