Molybdenum‐Doped Nickel Oxide as an Advanced Ion Storage Layer for Highly Stable and Durable Flexible Electrochromic Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
An optimized Mo‐doped NiO (MNO) film is developed using a magnetron sputtering process to overcome the limitations of pristine NiO in electrochromic (EC) applications. The MNO film exhibits improved optical modulation, faster response time, and enhanced cycling stability compared to pristine NiO.

Real‐Time Evolutionary Landscape of the Bronchial Epithelium and Corresponding Dynamic Immune Cell Alterations in Lung Squamous Cell Carcinogenesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC) is often preceded by sequential premalignant lesions with an increasing probability of malignant progression. Using single‐cell RNA sequencing, the dynamic cellular evolution from normal lung to LUSC tissues is delineated; clonal structure of premalignant and malignant epithelium is reveled; the conversion of immune ...

Prospective study of blunt aortic injury: Multicenter Trial of the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma.

open access: yesJournal of Trauma, 1997
BACKGROUND Blunt aortic injury is a major cause of death from blunt trauma. Evolution of diagnostic techniques and methods of operative repair have altered the management and posed new questions in recent years.

Human Bone‐Derived Endothelial Cells Mediate Bone Regeneration via Distinct Expression of KIT Ligand

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Bone‐specific endothelial cells (b‐ECs) uniquely express KITLG, which recruits c‐Kit+/CD34+ hematopoietic progenitors (HPCs) to the osteovascular niche, initiating a cascade that culminates in the osteogenic differentiation of bone marrow‐derived mesenchymal stem cells (bm‐MSCs) and subsequent ossification.

Blunt cerebrovascular injury practice management guidelines: the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma.

open access: yesJournal of Trauma, 2010
BACKGROUND Blunt injury to the carotid or vertebral vessels (blunt cerebrovascular injury [BCVI]) is diagnosed in approximately 1 of 1,000 (0.1%) patients hospitalized for trauma in the United States with the majority of these injuries diagnosed after ...

The Nuclear Localization of ACLY Guards Early Embryo Development Through Recruiting P300 and HAT1 to Promote Histone Acetylation and Transcription

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ACLY is vital for early embryo development. IGF‐1 activates AKT to phosphorylate ACLY, driving its nuclear localization and recruitment of HATs (P300/HAT1), boosting acetyl‐CoA production and histone acetylation for transcriptional activation. Conversely, ACLY deficiency (via knockdown, knockout, or AKT inhibition) reduces nuclear acetyl‐CoA, disrupts ...

Pharmacological targeting of PI3K isoforms as a therapeutic strategy in chronic lymphocytic leukaemia

open access: yesLeukemia Research Reports, 2015
PI3Kδ inhibitors such as idelalisib are providing improved therapeutic options for the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL). However under certain conditions, inhibition of a single PI3K isoform can be compensated by the other PI3K isoforms ...
