Boosting to BMS

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
Bondi-Metzner-Sachs (BMS) symmetries, or equivalently Conformal Carroll symmetries, are intrinsically associated to null manifolds and in two dimensions can be obtained as an Inönü-Wigner contraction of the two-dimensional (2d) relativistic conformal ...

Non-global Logarithms at 3 Loops, 4 Loops, 5 Loops and Beyond

open access: yes, 2014
We calculate the coefficients of the leading non-global logarithms for the hemisphere mass distribution analytically at 3, 4, and 5 loops at large Nc .

Strength through diversity: how cancers thrive when clones cooperate

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumor heterogeneity can offer direct benefits to the tumor through cooperation between different clones. In this review, Kuiken et al. discuss existing evidence for clonal cooperativity to identify overarching principles, and highlight how novel technological developments could address remaining open questions.

Enhancing IoT Network Efficiency Using Machine Learning Approaches [PDF]

open access: yesITM Web of Conferences
Technology has seen an exponential growth in the recent times. This in turn, has advanced the extent of device connectivity at an unrivaled pace by enabling large number of devices to communicate with each other at the same time and smooth data transfer.

Recent research and progress of biodegradable zinc alloys and composites for biomedical applications: Biomechanical and biocorrosion perspectives

open access: yesBioactive Materials, 2021
Biodegradable metals (BMs) gradually degrade in vivo by releasing corrosion products once exposed to the physiological environment in the body. Complete dissolution of biodegradable implants assists tissue healing, with no implant residues in the ...

BMS Modules in Three Dimensions

open access: yes, 2016
We build unitary representations of the BMS algebra and its higher-spin extensions in three dimensions, using induced representations as a guide. Our prescription naturally emerges from an ultrarelativistic limit of highest-weight representations of ...

Detection of circulating tumor DNA in colorectal cancer patients using a methylation‐specific droplet digital PCR multiplex

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We developed a cost‐effective methylation‐specific droplet digital PCR multiplex assay containing tissue‐conserved and tumor‐specific methylation markers. The assay can detect circulating tumor DNA with high accuracy in patients with localized and metastatic colorectal cancer.

Holgraphy and BMS field theory

open access: yes, 2004
We study the key ingredients of a candidate holographic correspondence in an asymptotically flat spacetimes; in particular we develop the kinematical and the classical dynamical data of a BMS invariant field theory living at null infinity.Comment: 3 ...

Next‐generation proteomics improves lung cancer risk prediction

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This is one of very few studies that used prediagnostic blood samples from participants of two large population‐based cohorts. We identified, evaluated, and validated an innovative protein marker model that outperformed an established risk prediction model and criteria employed by low‐dose computed tomography in lung cancer screening trials.
