Orthodontic and Maxillofacial Surgery Treatment in Achondroplasia for Orofacial Alterations: A Systematic Review and Preliminary Age‐Stratified Guidelines

open access: yesOrthodontics &Craniofacial Research, Volume 29, Issue 4, Page 593-610, August 2026.
ABSTRACT This systematic review aimed to collect and appraise the clinical outcomes of all orthopaedic, orthodontic and surgical interventions in ACH patients. Following PROSPERO protocol, multiple database sources were searched to December 2024 with no language restrictions for (i) genetically confirmed ACH; (ii) any orthodontic/orthopaedic ...

Neuropathology‐specific language features in primary progressive aphasia

open access: yesAlzheimer's &Dementia, Volume 22, Issue 7, July 2026.
Abstract INTRODUCTION Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA) clinical syndromes do not align consistently with underlying pathology. This study aimed to identify language markers for specific neuropathologies using both standard clinical tests and narrative speech analysis.

Neurophysiological Differentiation of Conversion to Alzheimer's Disease: Longitudinal Changes in P300 Amplitude as an Indicator of Mild Cognitive Impairment Progression

open access: yesBrain and Behavior, Volume 16, Issue 7, July 2026.
Longitudinal EEG recordings showed reduced P300 amplitudes in mild cognitive impairment, with the lowest values observed in individuals who progressed to Alzheimer's disease. Central P300 measures demonstrated strong discriminative performance and may represent an accessible electrophysiological marker associated with disease progression.

Clinical, Radiological, and Immunohistological Distinctions Between Limbic‐Predominant and Typical Alzheimer's Disease: A Systematic Review

open access: yesBrain and Behavior, Volume 16, Issue 7, July 2026.
Abstract Background Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most common cause of dementia worldwide and one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality among elderly people. It is characterized by generalized brain atrophy, especially affecting the hippocampus and medial temporal lobe.

Microwave-Assisted Fabrication and Characterization of Carbon Fiber-Sodium Bismuth Titanate Composites

open access: yesCrystals
Lead-based piezoelectric materials cause many environmental problems, regardless of their exceptional performance. To overcome this issue, a lead-free piezoelectric composite material was developed by incorporating different percentages of carbon fiber ...

Cerebellar Atrophy Modulates Freezing of Gait in Multiple System Atrophy Through Cognitive Dysfunction

open access: yesCNS Neuroscience &Therapeutics, Volume 32, Issue 7, July 2026.
Focusing on cerebellar pathology, this study identifies Crus II atrophy as a primary driver of FOG in multiple system atrophy. Mediation analysis reveals that attention and executive deficits partially mediate (38.57%/33.57%) the impact of Crus II volume loss on FOG severity.

Polarization Rotation and Monoclinic Distortion in Ferroelectric (Bi0.5Na0.5)TiO3–BaTiO3 Single Crystals under Electric Fields

open access: yesCrystals, 2014
The features of the crystal structures and spontaneous polarization (Ps) under an electric field (E) have been reviewed for (1 − x)(Bi0.5Na0.5)TiO3–xBaTiO3 (BNT–BT). In-situ measurements of high-resolution synchrotron radiation X-ray diffraction (SR-XRD)

Associations between neuronavigated rTMS‐mediated functional connectome plasticity and neurotransmitter receptors in Alzheimer's disease

open access: yesAlzheimer's &Dementia: Translational Research &Clinical Interventions, Volume 12, Issue 3, July/September 2026.
Abstract INTRODUCTION Cognitive improvement is mediated by repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) in Alzheimer's disease (AD), and connectome gradient analysis has important potential to explore more comprehensive information for treatment efficacy.
