Longitudinal EEG recordings showed reduced P300 amplitudes in mild cognitive impairment, with the lowest values observed in individuals who progressed to Alzheimer's disease. Central P300 measures demonstrated strong discriminative performance and may represent an accessible electrophysiological marker associated with disease progression.

Focusing on cerebellar pathology, this study identifies Crus II atrophy as a primary driver of FOG in multiple system atrophy. Mediation analysis reveals that attention and executive deficits partially mediate (38.57%/33.57%) the impact of Crus II volume loss on FOG severity.
