Multidimensional Militarisation, Evidence From Mexico's War on Drugs

International Social Science Journal, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This article documents different dimensions of militarisation observed in Mexico since the start of the war on drugs. Skeletons of swiftly swimming sharks: Three‐dimensional analysis of lamniform vertebral morphology and mineral architecture

Journal of Anatomy, EarlyView.
We examined morphology, 3D arrangement, and mineral amount in cartilaginous vertebrae from four lamniform shark families (Alopiidae, Carchariidae, Cetorhinidae, and Lamnidae). We identified family‐specific mineralization trends, and regional patterning of structures along the column.

Integrative architecture and structural boundaries of the subdigital adhesive toe pads of Gekko gecko (Linnaeus, 1758) and guidelines for toe pad demarcation in other geckos

Journal of Anatomy, EarlyView.
The adhesively competent toe pads of Gekko gecko (and other geckos) are delimited by a combination of external and deep anatomical features and cannot be identified based upon external scale form alone. We encourage future investigators to delimit toe pads in this functionally and anatomically meaningful fashion.
