Abstract : A method of solution for the aerodynamic flow field about two bodies at angle of attack including mutual interference effects has been devised for bodies with circular cross-section. The analytical method used is a modification of a method of solution for the flow about axisymmetric bodies in close proximity at zero angle of attack.

A Further Study of Bodies of Revolution

The model examined was that proposed by Matheson and Joubert [1], and is based on equality of lengthwise perimeter variation between the hull reflex geosim and the body of revolution.

1981Abstract : The aperture loading technique (ALT) is implemented in an aperture coupling body of revolution (BOR) computer code. Apertures of material fill (dielectric, composite, conductive putty, etc.) are amenable to ALT analysis. Thin apertures formed from complex shaped walls, e.g., sleeve-fit seams, also are amenable to ALT analysis.

Hypersonic Flow Around Bodies of Revolution
Journal of the Aerospace Sciences, 1961In a paper in this issue of the Aerospace Sciences, the relative importance of radiation and convection energy transfer is discussed in the case of stagnation flow at hypersonic speeds. Air emissivities are obtained from convenient tables, and radiation fluxes are illustrated for a wide range of altitude and velocities.
