Femine Body in the Mass Culture of Iran: between Nudity and Marginalization

open access: yesCorpus Mundi, 2021
The author analyses the problems of visualisation and marginalisation of female corporeality in developments of Iranian political and cultural identity from the early modernisation project of the 19th century and the radical modernisation of the 1920s ...

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Nevyčerpat revoluci v jediném okamžiku: Benjaminův "Surrealismus"

open access: yesFilosofický časopis, 2022
The study shows that Benjamin’s conception of revolution, put forth in his essay “Surrealism: The Last Snapshot of the European Intelligentsia,” can be understood as a way to bring about a long-term transformation of reality. To not exhaust revolution in

On the n-body problem on surfaces of revolution [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Differential Equations, 2018
We explore the $n$-body problem, $n\geq 3,$ on a surface of revolution with a general interaction depending on the pairwise geodesic distance. Using the geometric methods of classical mechanics we determine a large set of properties. In particular, we show that Saari's conjecture fails on surfaces of revolution admitting a geodesic circle.

Investigating transcription factor dynamics in health and disease using FRAP

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
FRAP analysis of GFP‐tagged transcription factors reveals how molecular mobility and target engagement change in response to drug treatment. By combining live‐cell imaging, quantitative model fitting, and statistical analysis, this approach uncovers transcription factor dynamics linked to disease mechanisms, providing a powerful framework for ...

The structure of organization of the political body in the conception of Hannah Arendt

open access: yesFilosofia Unisinos, 2021
This study focuses on the investment in the systems of councils or other forms of spontaneous political manifestation, in which Arendt (1990) presents a conception of a political body inserted into local problems, thus, becoming the basic problems of ...

MITF maintains genome stability in nonmelanocyte lineages

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
MITF is essential for melanocyte survival and acts as an oncogene in 10%–20% of melanomas. We show that MITF depletion causes genome instability in nonmelanocytic cells, leading to LATS2‐mediated P53 activation, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. This study highlights the role of MITF as a genome maintenance factor beyond the melanocyte lineage. Created

Steady Stokes flow past dumbbell shaped axially symmetric body of revolution: An analytic approach [PDF]

open access: yesTheoretical and Applied Mechanics, 2012
In this paper, the problem of steady Stokes flow past dumbbell-shaped axially symmetric isolated body of revolution about its axis of symmetry is considered by utilizing a method (Datta and Srivastava, 1999) based on body geometry under the ...
