A flexible, ultrathin multi‐channel microelectrode array (MEA) conformally integrated onto a curved slide‐well enables stable electrical interfacing with 3D cardiac organoids. The geometry‐guided self‐alignment allows simultaneous recording of extracellular field potentials and contractile motion from irregular, beating tissues.

Paternal Circadian Disruption Impairs Offspring Cognition via Sperm microRNAs
Paternal circadian disruption remodels the sperm small RNA payload, elevating miR‐92a‐3p/miR‐25‐3p levels and perturbing early embryonic gene regulatory programs. Microinjection experiments and single‐embryo transcriptomics reveal sex‐specific developmental vulnerabilities, ultimately impairing offspring hippocampal synaptic plasticity and cognition ...

Fibronectin 1 (FN1)‐expressing subicular subpopulations encode novel object preference and selectively govern retrieval of novel object recognition (NOR) via affecting excitability of entorhinal‐projecting circuit through large conductance Ca2+‐activated potassium (BK) channel. ABSTRACT Novel object recognition (NOR), referring to the cognitive ability

Linearizing and Forecasting: A Reservoir Computing Route to Digital Twins of the Brain
A new approach uses simple neural networks to create digital twins of brain activity, capturing how different patterns unfold over time. The method generates and recovers key dynamics even from noisy data. When applied to fMRI, it predicts brain signals and reveals distinctive activity patterns across regions and individuals, opening possibilities for ...

Own-body perception in body dysmorphic disorder
Cognitive Neuropsychiatry, 2013This paper reviews the literature as it relates to perceptual processes in body dysmorphic disorder (BDD).A narrative-style review of the literature was undertaken to explore the relationship between BDD and obsessive-compulsive disorder, the empirical evidence for aberrant own-body perception in BDD, and the possible role of the parietal cortex in the

Aniseikonic body perception in pregnancy
Journal of Psychosomatic Research, 1972Abstract Body perception through aniseikonic glasses (aniseikonic bosy perception, ABP), which produced perceptual distortion, was studied in 45 randomly selected women, pregnant for the first time. An association, between the existence of conflicts concerning reproductive functions on one hand and the experience of little distortion of the pelvic ...

Perception of Body Size in Schizophrenia
Archives of General Psychiatry, 1962In an earlier preliminary study, Cleveland 1 found that schizophrenics overestimate body size when making size judgments from photographs of body parts. Moreover, schizophrenics exceeded a hospital control group in size estimates made from photographs of such body parts as a heart and stomach, as well as a hand and foot.
