Catálogo sistemático dos polens das plantas arbóreas do Brasil meridional, XXIV: Urticaceae Catalogue of Southern Brazilian pollen grains: XXIV - Urticaceae

open access: yesMemorias do Instituto Oswaldo Cruz, 1976
O estudo da morfologia polínica de alguns gêneros permitiu definir tipos polínicos nas Urticaceae. Assim, em Urera e Urtica ocorrem grãos pantoporados, em Boehmeria 3-porados, em Phenax e pilea 2-porados.

Diversity and characterization of ramie-degumming strains

open access: yesScientia Agricola, 2012
Ramie (Boehmeria nivea and Boehmeria tenacissima) is a widely used fiber crop. Traditional water retting or chemical boiling method performed in order to extract ramie fiber seriously pollute the environment and severely damage the fiber, so biological ...

POUZOLZIA RUGULOSA TRANSFERRED FROM BOEHMERIA, AND THE DISTINCTION BETWEEN BOEHMERIA AND POUZOLZIA (URTICACEAE)

open access: yesEdinburgh Journal of Botany, 2009
Pouzolzia rugulosa (Wedd.) Acharya & Kravtsova, comb. nov., is transferred from the genus Boehmeria on the grounds of the anatomy and morphology of the fruit, correlated with molecular data. A revised set of anatomical and morphological characters is provided to distinguish between Boehmeria and Pouzolzia.

Genetic Diversity among Wild Resources of the Genus Boehmeria Jacq. from West China Determined Using Inter-simple Sequence Repeat and Rapid Amplification of Polymorphic DNA Markers

open access: yesPlant Production Science, 2009
Ramie (Boehmeria nivea L.Gaud) is planted as an important fiber crop in China. Randomly amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) and inter-simple sequence repeat (ISSR) markers were used for the first time for the detection of genetic polymorphism of 37 ramie ...
