2021 40th Chinese Control Conference (CCC), 2021Based on adaptive backstepping PID method, a control scheme for boiler-turbine units is presented in this paper. Firstly, a typical nonlinear model of the boiler-turbine units is considered. A coordinate transformation is introduced to move the equilibrium points to the coordinate origin. Then, the model is divided into two subsystems.

Tuning of PID controllers for boiler-turbine units
ISA Transactions, 2004A simple two-by-two model for a boiler-turbine unit is demonstrated in this paper. The model can capture the essential dynamics of a unit. The design of a coordinated controller is discussed based on this model. A PID control structure is derived, and a tuning procedure is proposed.
