The Influence of Pressure on Local Heat Transfer Rate under the Vapor Bubbles during Pool Boiling
This paper presents the results of an experimental study on the evolution of a nonstationary temperature field during ethanol pool boiling in a pressure range of 12–101.2 kPa. Experimental data were obtained using infrared thermography with high temporal

Boiling Heat Transfer Enhancement on Biphilic Surfaces
Flat surfaces with different patterns of hydrophobic spots were employed for experimental investigation of boiling heat transfer. In one case, hydrophobic spots were created on a smooth copper surface and on a surface coated with arrays of micrococoons ...

Evaluation of forced convective boiling heat transfer with layered parallel microchannels
In this study, we experimentally evaluated heat transfer performance using a configuration of layered parallel microchannels, with a focus on the effect of refrigerant mass flow rate on heat transfer performance. HFC-245fa was used as a refrigerant owing

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.
