Diversity of Vascular Flora of Boka Kotorska Bay
2016Boka Kotorska represents a unique geomorphologic object in the southern part of eastern coastline of Adriatic Sea. Due to the interesting orography of this bay (surrounded by high mountains representing special micro-centers of floristic diversity in this part of Europe), climate characteristics and pedological substrate, etc., the area of Boka ...

Environmental Science and Pollution Research, 2021
Surface sediments collected from twelve stations in the Boka Kotorska Bay were analyzed for the level and distribution of twenty-six elements and ten oxides, grain sizes, organic matter, and carbonate content. Potentially toxic elements (Al, Fe, Mn, Cr, Zn, Ni, Cu, Pb, As, Co, U) were determined to assess the contamination status and potential ...

Trophic condition in the Boka Kotorska Bay
2010Two indicators of the trophic state, TRIX index and Fp ratio, for the first time were used to assess trophic conditions in the Boka Kotorska Bay. The TRIX value in this area ranged from 3.02 to 5.58 (4.11 + 0.66) while the values of the Fp ratio varied between 0.05 and 0.33 (0.17 + 0.08). The results indicated that the study area corresponds to a "good"

Spatial and temporal distribution of appendicularians in the Boka Kotorska Bay
2014Temporal and spatial distribution of pelagic tunicates appendicularians was studied at six stations in Boka Kotorska Bay from March 2009 to June 2010. There were found nine species at all. The most numerous pelagic tunicates were found in Tivat Bay. Higher abundance was noticed during spring months.
