Polyurethane adhesive with improved high temperature properties [PDF]

open access: yes, 1977
A polyurethane resin with paste activator, capable of providing useful bond strengths over the temperature range of -184 C to 149 C, is described. The adhesive system has a pot life of over one hour.

Energy Versus Magnetic-Field Diagram of the Spin-1 Haldane System with an Impurity

open access: yes, 1993
Energy versus magnetic-field diagram of the spin-$1$ Haldane system with an impurity bond is studied in terms of spin-1/2 degree of freedom at the sites neighboring the impurity bond by means of analytical method.

Engineering tandem VHHs to target different epitopes to enhance antibody‐dependent cell‐mediated cytotoxicity

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Tandem VHH targeting distinct EGFR epitopes were engineered into a monovalent bispecific antibody (7D12‐EGA1‐Fc) with more potent ADCC without increasing affinity to EGFR. Structural modeling of 7D12‐EGA1‐Fc showed cross‐linking of separate EGFR domains to enhance CD16a engagement on NK cells.

Validity of bond strength tests: A critical review-Part II

open access: yesJournal of Conservative Dentistry, 2014
Background: Macro-bond strength tests resulted in cohesive failures and overestimation of bond strengths. To reduce the flaws, micro-bond strength tests were introduced. They are the most commonly used bond-strength tests.

Enzymatic degradation of biopolymers in amorphous and molten states: mechanisms and applications

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This review explains how polymer morphology and thermal state shape enzymatic degradation pathways, comparing amorphous and molten biopolymer structures. By integrating structure–reactivity principles with insights from thermodynamics and enzyme engineering, it highlights mechanisms that enable efficient polymer breakdown.

Development of adhesion between two concretes during concrete hardening

open access: yesBudownictwo i Architektura, 2009
The main factor influencing the bearing capacity in composite members is bond strength between concretes, because only effective joint between substrate and overlay ensure their full structural cooperation.

A novel bioactive glass-enhanced orthodontic bonding resin: A shear bond strength study [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Enamel decalcification caused by poor oral hygiene is a significant problem in orthodontics. Bioactive glass-containing resins have been shown to release Ca2+ ions into surrounding solution.
