Bone Penetration of Cycloserine in Osteoarticular Tuberculosis Patients of China
Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy, 2022The cycloserine concentrations in plasma and bone that were collected during operations on 28 osteoarticular tuberculosis (TB) patients treated daily with a 500-mg cycloserine-containing regimen were determined. The median concentrations in plasma and bone were 16.29 μg/mL (interquartile range [IQR], 6.47 μg/mL) and 24.33 μg/g (IQR, 14.68 μg/g ...

Uranium concentration in bone of Beijing (China) residents
Science of The Total Environment, 1990Bone samples were obtained from 65 Beijing residents who had died from illness or old age. The concentration of uranium in the bone ash was determined by the laser-fluorimetric method. The concentration varied between 0.014 and 0.390 microgram g-1 ash, with a median value of 0.067 microgram g-1 ash; the 25th and 75th percentiles were 0.045 and 0.1 ...

The effect of bone ASH on the properties of china
Glass and Ceramics, 1997The results of a study of the effect of bone ash on the properties of the china body and the strength, whiteness, and water absorption of china are summed up. It is found that the addition of 5–8% bone ash instead pegmatite improves whiteness by 4–5% and reduces the glost-firing temperature by 100–150°C.
