Lithology and palynology of cave floor sediment cores from Wakulla Spring, Wakulla County, Florida [PDF]

open access: yes, 1991
Five short bottom sediment cores taken in Wakulla Spring Wakulla County, Florida, were described lithologically and sampled for palynological study. Four of the cores were recoveredfrom sediments at the spring cave entrance (130 feet water depth).

Unlocking the Potential of MXene‐Based Electrochemical Biosensors: A Review of Biofunctionalization Strategies and Biosensing Principles

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Electrochemical biosensors enable the accurate and timely detection of clinical biomarkers, improving healthcare and precision medicine. MXene nanosheets, a class of 2D transition metal carbides, nitrides, and carbonitrides, are promising materials for developing next‐generation electrochemical biosensors due to their unique physicochemical ...

Mega solid bone cyst in iliac region from primary hyperparathyroidism: a case report

open access: yesJournal of Medical Case Reports
Background Aneurysmal bone cysts are benign, locally aggressive bone lesions that commonly affect young adults and adolescents. These cysts, which may cause pain, fractures, or deformities, are often associated with vascular or abnormal bone resorption ...

Arthroscopic Bone Grafting of Deep Acetabular Cysts Using a Curved Delivery Device

open access: yesArthroscopy Techniques, 2016
Acetabular intraosseous cysts are frequently encountered in patients with dysplasia or femoroacetabular impingement. Small cysts are typically addressed by removing the cyst lining and stimulating healing via microfracture or abrasion chondroplasty.

Spatiotemporal Sequential Delivery of Chidamide Regulates Macrophage Reprogramming in Lymphoma Microenvironment Through HDACs‐STAT3 Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Our study identifies the HDACs‐STAT3 axis as key regulator for M2 macrophage accumulation in DLBCL. We developed Chid@M2pep‐EVs/TP, a pH‐responsive drug delivery system for M2 macrophage specific chidamide administration. By coupling M2‐targeted chidamide with EVs‐mediated delivery, this system reprograms M2 to M1 via HDAC inhibition and STAT3 ...

Tailoring Vascular‐Immune Homeostasis via Manganese‐DNA Complex‐Armed Immunogenic Extracellular Vesicles for Pancreatic Cancer Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that Mn2⁺–tumor DNA complexes encapsulated in dendritic cell (DC)– derived immunogenic extracellular vesicles (EVDC@Mn‐DNA) act as a DC‐specific cGAS– STING activator. EVDC@Mn‐DNA treatment enhances intratumoral DC activation, improves tumor vascular function, promotes CD8⁺ T cell activity, and suppresses pancreatic tumor growth,

Targeting the PGRN‐BMP Lysosomal Axis With NPs@PGRN Reverses Immunometabolic Dysfunction in Chronic Septic Arthritis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Chronic septic arthritis involves intracellular bacterial persistence and lipid‐immune crosstalk via the PGRN‐BMP lysosomal axis. A dual‐targeting nanoparticle system (NPs@PGRN) restores lysosomal bactericidal function, reduces bacterial burden, and reprograms macrophage immunity, offering a novel therapeutic strategy. ABSTRACT Chronic septic arthritis,
