Neuroamines — regulators of local processes at bone marrow autotransplantation [PDF]

open access: yesСаратовский научно-медицинский журнал, 2015
Purpose: to determine the content of neuroamines (histamine, serotonin, catecholamines) in bioamine structures of bone marrow after autotransplantation. Material and methods.

A Topological Gaussian Mixture Model for Bone Marrow Morphology in Leukaemia [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
Acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) is a type of blood and bone marrow cancer characterized by the proliferation of abnormal clonal haematopoietic cells in the bone marrow leading to bone marrow failure. Over the course of the disease, angiogenic factors released by leukaemic cells drastically alter the bone marrow vascular niches resulting in observable ...

Modelling Erythroblastic Islands: Using a Hybrid Model to Assess the Function of Central Macrophage [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2011
The production and regulation of red blood cells, erythropoiesis, occurs in the bone marrow where erythroid cells proliferate and differentiate within particular structures, called erythroblastic islands. A typical structure of these islands consists in a macrophage (white cell) surrounded by immature erythroid cells (progenitors), with more mature ...

Mesenchymal Stem Cells‐Derived Extracellular Vesicles Mimetics as Osteoinductive Mediators for Bone Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Mesenchymal stem cell‐derived nanoghosts (MSC‐NGs) mimic naturally secreted extracellular vesicles (MSC‐EVs) in structure and physicochemical properties but can be synthesized at more translatable yields. As osteogenic agents, MSC‐NGs demonstrate superior outcomes compared to MSC‐EVs.

Accurate detection of uniparental disomy and microdeletions by SNP array analysis in myelodysplastic syndromes with normal cytogenetics. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Progress in the management of patients with myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) has been hampered by the inability to detect cytogenetic abnormalities in 40-60% of cases.

Electric Pulse Regulated MXene Based Nanozymes for Integrative Bioelectricity Immuno‐Cancer Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
MXenzyme‐mediated bioelectricity cancer therapy (MXenzyme‐BECT) enhances cancer cell death through irreversible depolarization, ion channel disruption, ROS generation, and immunogenic cell death. Computational simulations reveal the electrical mechanisms by which MXenzyme acts on single cells and support to predict treatment parameters. Next‐generation

Multifunctional Hydroxyapatite Coated with Gallium Liquid Metal‐Based Silver Nanoparticles for Infection Prevention and Bone Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A multifunctional hydroxyapatite (HAp) coating integrated with silver‐gallium liquid metal nanoparticles (HAp‐Ag‐GaNPs) exhibits dual antibacterial and osteogenic properties. It effectively inhibits Gram‐positive and Gram‐negative bacteria, including resistant strains, while enhancing bone regeneration.
