BoMaNet: Boolean Masking of an Entire Neural Network

2020 IEEE/ACM International Conference On Computer Aided Design (ICCAD), 2020
Recent work on stealing machine learning (ML) models from inference engines with physical side-channel attacks warrant an urgent need for effective side-channel defenses.

Boolean Network Games and Iterated Boolean Games

2015
A Boolean Network Game is a game played on a network structure. Players choose actions depending on the actions of those in their neighbourhood and attempt to achieve some goal expressed in a modification of Linear Temporal Logic over an infinite run. Iterated Boolean Games are similar, but lack network structure.

Complete Synchronization of Boolean Networks

IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, 2012
We examine complete synchronization of two deterministic Boolean networks (BNs) coupled unidirectionally in the drive-response configuration. A necessary and sufficient criterion is presented in terms of algebraic representations of BNs. As a consequence, we show that complete synchronization can occur only between two conditionally identical BNs when ...

On Negations in Boolean Networks

2009
Although it is well known by a counting argument that relative to the full basis most Boolean functions need exponentially many operations, for explicit Boolean functions only linear lower bounds with small constant factors are known. For monotone networks (i.e., networks without negations) exponential lower bounds for explicit monotone Boolean ...

Output feedback stabilizer design of Boolean networks based on network structure

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering, 2019
In genetic regulatory networks, a stable configuration can represent the evolutionary behavior of cell death or unregulated growth in genes. We present analytical investigations on output feedback stabilizer design of Boolean networks (BNs) to achieve ...

Identification problems for Boolean networks and Boolean control networks

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 2014
Abstract In this paper we address various forms of identification problems for Boolean networks (BNs) and for Boolean control networks (BCNs). For the former, we assume to have a set of infinite or finite support output trajectories and we want to identify a BN compatible with those trajectories.
