BOOM-Explorer: RISC-V BOOM Microarchitecture Design Space Exploration
ACM Transactions on Design Automation of Electronic Systems, 2023Microarchitecture parameters tuning is critical in the microprocessor design cycle. It is a non-trivial design space exploration (DSE) problem due to the large solution space, cycle-accurate simulators’ modeling inaccuracy, and high simulation runtime for performance evaluations.

Design on decoupling control law of the refueling boom for aerial boom refueling
2015 IEEE International Conference on Information and Automation, 2015Kinematics dynamics modeling of the refueling boom system is established, and then decoupling control law is designed for the nonlinear characteristic of the kinetics model. By adding compensation control law and double feedback control law to the kinetics model, the boom system can be divided into two typical independent linear second order subsystems.

Abstract : This technical digest provides basic engineering design guidance for floating ice retention structures or ice booms. Basic types of booms and their ice control objectives are described briefly. The basic theory and equations used in ice boom design are then presented and typical structural components described.
